About this work

The rich man lies in a heavenly bed, surrounded by doctors and weeping women. Left on a table: crockery and jewelry. Through the doorway, little devils fly carrying the soul of the rich man through the air. Front left: an open money chest. With Latin inscription above and French and Dutch inscriptions below.
