About this work
The wounded traveler is lifted from the donkey and the Good Samaritan, sitting on the donkey, helps with this. In the middle ground two men carry the wounded man inside while the Samaritan watches. Below the image a two-line text in Latin from Luke 10 and a six-line verse in German.
