A man, seen from the back, standing on a dais with a garden vase. He wears a justaucorps, waistcoat, breeches, stockings and heeled shoes. On his head a tricorne. Decorative sword on the right side. His left hand resting on a walking stick. The print is part of a series of five costume prints under the title Figures de différents caractères.
