Young actress, standing before the mirror, rehearsing her role. She is dressed in a 'Circassienne', the skirt of which is decorated with a band in the color of the bodice. All trimmings are edged with 'blonde' or bobbin lace; a volant (ruffled strip) of gauze under the band on the skirt. The sleeves are decorated with tulle. Accessories: cap with ribbon and ostrich feathers, beaded necklace (pearl string) in the hair, necklace consisting of two strings around the neck, bracelet on both wrists.
