About this work
Woman with a small dog, in deshabillé, consisting of a caraco à la polonaise. On her coiffure a 'chapeau à l'Angloise'. In her right hand a parasol which she uses as a walking stick. Accessories: knotted neckerchief, bow at the décolleté, bracelet, heeled shoes. Print from series L. 11th Cahier des Costumes Français, 5th Suite d'Habillemens à la mode and 1778, Gallerie des Modes et Costumes Français.
