An elegant bourgeois woman, walking in the countryside. She wears a 'robe à la Polonaise' for the morning, over which a silk taffeta mantelet with hood. On her high coiffure a 'Bonnet à l'Ameriquaine' ('according to the newest fashion'). Fan in the right hand, walking stick with ribbons in the left hand. Further accessories: bracelets, ring, chatelaine and heeled shoes with rosettes.
