About this work

Young unmarried woman in caraco on a skirt with falbala. Around her neck a fichu. On her high coiffure a 'Bonnet à la Pouponne', or a cap of netting decorated with dotted edging. Accessories: knotted cord around the neck, bracelet, heeled shoes with rosettes. Print from series K. 10th Cahier des Costumes Français, 4th Suite d'Habillemens à la mode, Gallerie des Modes et Costumes Français.
