About this work

Handsome woman dressed in an elegant 'deshabillé'. On her head a 'Chapeau à l'Angloise' and in her left hand a walking stick, which can also be used as an umbrella. She is walking with her dog. Copy after L 64 from series L. 11e Cahier des Costumes Français, 5e Suite d'Habillemens à la mode en 1778, Gallerie des Modes et Costumes Français.
