Robe à l'anglaise. According to the accompanying text, the skirt is of light pink satin and the underskirt of light white satin. Here over a very large scarf of white taffeta trimmed with a large falbala of black tulle, instead of a mantle. The scarf is draped over the chest, tied at the back (over the skirt) and thus forms a belt. The two ends are trimmed with the same falbala or fringe. Her hair hangs 'à la Conseillère' and has two large curls falling over the shoulders. On the hairstyle a 'casque à la Romaine' of yellow satin with three large feathers. The casque is trimmed with a tuft of white tulle, which hangs from the back down to the belt. The print is part of the 8th Cahier from the Cabinet des Modes ou les Modes Nouvelles.
