Woman in a 'grande parure' for winter: purple japon with train and white skirt, trimmed with marten fur. Fan in the left hand. The print is part of the 10th Cahier, 4th year, from the series Magasin des Modes Nouvelles Françaises et Anglaises. The series consists of 172 fashion prints, published by Buisson, Paris, 20 November 1786 – 21 December 1789.
