About this work
Standing woman dressed in a blue satin gown with white trim. Short puffed sleeves. With her left hand she holds up her gown. Accessories: hat, earring in the left ear, necklace, long gloves, flat shoes with pointed toes. The print is part of a series of 142 fashion prints, of which 115 have been identified, published by J. Chéreau, Paris, 1799-1810.
