Woman, walking to the right, with a 'toquet d'enfant' trimmed with lace on her head. She wears a spencer with black braid. White japon over a 'Transparent' (petticoat). Colored stockings with contrasting heels. Further accessories: brooch (?), fan, flat shoes with pointed toes. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Sellèque, Paris, 1797-1839. This print was previously published in the Journal des Modes et Nouveautés as number 5, with the caption 'Costumes'.
