About this work

Two women by a bench, dressed in a 'robe tailleur'. Standing woman in a spotted gown with a blue belt. Wide balloon sleeves to the elbow, smooth undersleeves. The seated woman wears a striped gown with wide two-part balloon sleeves. Hat adorned with flowers, long gloves, and a parasol. Top right, two small line drawings of the back view.
