About this work
Standing woman dressed in a spotted pierrot and a 'à patte' bodice of white (?) silk. Skirt with matching spotted pattern. Around the neck a fichu. Accessories: 'chapeau à la Theodore', long yellow gloves, fan, chatelaine. The print is part of the 34th Cahier, 2nd year, from the series Magasin des Modes Nouvelles Françaises et Anglaises. The series consists of 172 fashion prints, published by Buisson, Paris, 20 November 1786 – 21 December 1789.
