About this work
Standing woman dressed in a white muslin pierrot on a matching skirt adorned with two falbalas. Accompanied by: 1. A hat 'à la Théodore' of white and blue striped taffeta with a large voile of gauze and decorated with a garland of roses. 2. A decorated neckerchief with a bouquet of roses. 3. Pink long glazed gloves. 4. Pink shoes. 5. A painted folding fan. 6. Hairstyle with curls and a chignon (wrong). The print is part of the 33rd Cahier, 2nd year, from the series Magasin des Modes Nouvelles Françaises et Anglaises. The series consists of 172 fashion prints, published by Buisson, Paris, 20 November 1786 – 21 December 1789.
