Standing woman dressed in the English fashion. She wears a white muslin japon, the skirt of which is lifted at the back. Under-skirt of canary-yellow 'pékin' and a white linen mantelet with double falbalas. On her head a large black 'chapeau-bonnette'. The print is part of the 35th Cahier, 2nd year, from the series Magasin des Modes Nouvelles Françaises et Anglaises. The series consists of 172 fashion prints, published by Buisson, Paris, 20 November 1786 – 21 December 1789.
