About this work
Standing woman dressed in a caraco of apple-green satin and a pink skirt trimmed with a ruffled strip of fabric decorated with flowers. Fichu. The pinned-up hair is decorated with feathers, bow and a wreath of flowers. Accessories: earrings, flower corsage, gloves, heeled shoes with rosettes(?). The print is part of the 9th Cahier, 2nd year, from the series Magasin des Modes Nouvelles Françaises et Anglaises. The series consists of 172 fashion prints, published by Buisson, Paris, 20 November 1786 - 21 December 1789.
