Two women in an interior, standing by an open window. Left: muslin gown trimmed with a ruffled strip of fabric with 'gances'. Velvet belt and necklace trimmed with Blonde (bobbin lace). Further accessories: mittens, fan, handkerchief, flat shoe with square toe. Right: embroidered muslin gown. Accessories: mittens, handkerchief, belt(?), flat shoes with straps. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, Paris, 1797-1839.
