About this work
Fashions for September 1850 from London and Paris. Jacket on a skirt with three ruffled strips of fabric with floral pattern. Gown with half-wide sleeves and pleated under-sleeves. Evening gown with square neckline and wide skirt with three pleated strips of fabric. Accessories: buttoned belt, short gloves, bracelets on both wrists, fan. Girl with flower basket, two caps and a woman half-length. Print from the fashion magazine The World of Fashion (1824-1891).
