About this work
Standing woman, seen from the back, dressed in a silk bodice, trimmed with tulle and satin bows. On her head a 'Toque Béarnaise', executed by Mr. Croizat. Further accessories: long scarf trimmed with tassels, belt (?), long gloves, flat shoe with pointed toe and bow. To the right, a sitting woman dressed in the same bodice. Fan in hand. Print from the fashion magazine *Petit Courrier des Dames* (1821-1868).
