Man in an 'habit' with open pockets, vest and breeches of ecru-colored 'soie des Indes' (silk). On his head a high hat with standing narrow brim decorated with silver-colored fabric and cord-shaped hat ribbon, from the shops of Gérard, successor of Imbault. Hairstyle by Mr. Foucher. 'Cravattes en coeur'. Further accessories: gloves, walking stick, flat shoes with bows. Next to him a boy dressed in an 'veste Anglaise' (jacket) of wool, decorated with flat braids and silk buttons.
