About this work
A couple walking arm-in-arm; beside them stands a man holding his tall hat and walking stick. The woman is dressed in an equestrian costume (riding habit). On her head a tall hat adorned with feathers. In her hand a whip. The two men are dressed in 'toilettes' for Longchamp. According to the caption, their hairstyle was done by Charles. Print from the fashion magazine Petit Courrier des Dames (1821-1868).
