According to the caption, the man wears a 'pardessus', 'habit' and long trousers from the shops of Uhlendorff & Lebois. High hat by Mugnier. Hairstyle by Bouchereau. Knotted neckerchief. Heeled shoes. Walking stick. The woman wears a 'capote' or bonnet by Gaupillat and a gown by Oudot Manoury. 'Fichu a collet-rotonde' by Mme Delatouche. Further accessories: earring in the right ear, brooch, handkerchief. Print from the fashion magazine La Gazette des Salons (1835–1837).
