About this work

Straw hat with a ball of 'gros de naples' from the workshops of Bonté. 'Pelerine mantelet' of plain mousseline lined with tulle from the shops of Chaigneau Popelard. Further accessories: gloves, handkerchief, shoes with crossed straps and square toes. Seated figure in the same dress with balloon sleeves, seen from the back. Print from the fashion magazine Le Follet Courrier des Salons (November 1829–October 1882).
