About this work
Standing woman, framed by rose garlands, in a two-piece strompel dress of cream-colored lace(?) and black fabric with a curl motif. Collar and cuffs decorated with ruffles. Accessories: hat decorated with an aigrette, parasol, heeled shoes. Bottom right, a line drawing of the back of the dress (but with a different hat on the head).
