About this work
Standing woman, framed by rose garlands, in a two-piece strompel dress of black/yellow checkered fabric. Cuffs and tunic trimmed with pleated strips of the same fabric. Pleated white collar. Accessories: hat decorated with aigrettes, necklace with two strands, parasol, shoes with round buckles and heels. Bottom right, a line drawing of the back of the dress (but with a different hat on the head).
