About this work
'Coiffure' decorated with diamonds by Sergent. Dress of satin decorated with floral corsages. Accessories: earrings, necklace, brooch, stole, fan, long gloves. Cape trimmed with fur or 'Manteau bayard' from the shops of Gagelin. Shoulder collar. Retro-sleeves with slits that also serve as armholes. Print from the fashion magazine La Mode (1829-1855). The print is a copy of No. 3139, 31 December 1833, from the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes.
