About this work

Under the command of Lieutenant-General Nozu Michitsura (center) and Major-General Ôshima Yoshimasa, an attack was launched on the morning of September 15, 1894, on the city of Pyongyang. After a battle lasting more than twenty-four hours, the Japanese army had conquered the city.
