About this work
On August 8, 1894, the battalion of the 12th regiment arrived at the harbor of Genzan; their destination was Seoul. They were sent back by Lieutenant-General Nozu to Sakyrong to support another brigade. Together they were called the Sakryong detachment and formed the right flank in the attack on Pyongyang.
