About this work
Japanese soldiers destroy the railway with pickaxes, causing a train with Russian soldiers to become stuck. In reality, the railways in Manchuria were not well developed during the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905). Russia had great difficulty transporting its soldiers to the front line, and this delay indirectly contributed to Japan's victory in the war.
