About this work
This album contains a rare, complete series of prints: the Icones Centum (One Hundred Icons) by Anthony van Dyck. They consist of 100 portraits of monarchs, scholars, artists, and art lovers. Some were etched by Van Dyck himself, while others were executed by his colleagues after his design. The series immediately became a coveted collector's item among print enthusiasts and remains so to this day.
