About this work

Sketchbook consisting of 33 sheets and one loose sheet with studies of figures in various body positions, mythological and allegorical figures, and some ornaments. The sheets of the sketchbook are marked with the letters b through v (in alphabetical order), and for some of the letters, Spanish and/or Portuguese words are written beginning with that letter and provided with the Dutch translations. Additionally, the sketchbook was presumably used by another hand for account book notes.
