Print album with scenes from the New Testament in cartouches

Print album with scenes from the New Testament in ornamental frames. The album contains 56 impressions of the same engraving with ornamental cartouches. From these, windows were cut out in which 56 small engravings with scenes from the New Testament were carefully mounted. Below and above the representations, the relevant biblical passages and a short quote from the Vulgate are written in pen with brown ink. In the front of the album, a small engraving of John the Baptist as a child is pasted. The print has an Italian inscription and is framed with fragments of early 16th-century metal engravings with ornaments, birds, monkeys, and a watermill. On the flyleaf, two Italian ex-libris in pen and brown ink: 'Lucas de Taddey emiss. Florenties' (?) and 'Postea Pia. Petri de Cappiorsi Montislupi. Anno d. 1780' (?).
