About this work
State bed of the deceased Albert V, Duke of Bavaria, lying under a catafalque with a cross and a crucifix at his feet and head respectively, and the coat of arms of Bavaria. Next to his feet lie two spurs. Around the bed four pedestals with large burning candles. Behind them stand eight clergymen reading a requiem mass.
