About this work
Jupiter tries to seduce Io. On the left in the background, Io has been turned into a cow by Jupiter. His wife Juno approaches the couple in her chariot drawn by peacocks and questions her husband about the animal. In the lower margin, a four-line explanation in two columns, in Latin.
