About this work
Princess Coronis, Apollo's mistress, was pregnant by him, but left him for another. A white crow, which was supposed to keep an eye on her, reports this to Apollo, whereupon he turns the crow black in anger. Apollo then kills Coronis with an arrow. In the lower margin, a four-line explanation, in two columns, in Latin.
