Paul and Barnabas at Lystra / Paul's flight from Damascus

Two scenes on an album sheet. On the left, Paul and Barnabas. They had healed a paralyzed man. The priest of the temple of Jupiter and his followers wanted to offer bulls as a sacrifice, believing Paul and Barnabas to be Mercury and Jupiter in human form. Paul, horrified, tears his clothes to prevent this. On the right, Paul is lowered in a basket over the city wall by his disciples to avoid persecution by the Jews. Below both scenes is a two-line Latin inscription. The sheet is part of an album.
