About this work
Top left, Moses receives the tablets of the law on Mount Sinai. The tetragram symbolizes God the Father. Meanwhile, the Israelites dance around a pedestal with the golden calf. When Moses returned and saw their idolatry, he threw the tablets in anger (Ex. 32:1). The print is part of an album.
