About this work
Christ sits at table in the house of Simon in Batanea, the one who had suffered from leprosy. A sinful woman (Mary Magdalene) pours very costly oil from an alabaster flask over the head of Christ. In the medallion the woman washes the feet of Christ and dries them with her hair. Letters are placed at various elements of the composition. The print is part of an album.
