About this work
Christ sits with his disciples around a table during the Last Supper. He has blessed the bread and the wine and let his disciples eat and drink of it. He foretells that they will all fall away from him in the coming night. In the background it is seen how they depart for the garden of Gethsemane. Letters are placed at various elements of the composition. The print is part of an album.
