About this work
The high priest Hilkiah stands on the right at a lectern and reads the laws to King Josiah who sits on a throne on the left in the temple. Behind the king stands the people and the priests of Judah and Jerusalem. Outside burns a fire in which all pagan sacrifices found in the temple are burned. The print is part of an album.
