About this work
In the foreground two men, one with a beam in his eye, the other with a splinter, illustrating Matt. 7:3: "Why do you look at the splinter in the eye of your brother, while you do not notice the beam in your own eye?" Behind them two blind men fall into a pit, illustrating Luke 6:39: "Can one blind man lead another blind man? Do they not both fall into a pit?" Letters are placed at various elements of the composition. The print is part of an album.
