About this work
Depiction of the first part of the Our Father prayer. Kneeling men and women pray towards heaven. In the clouds, the Trinity, surrounded by angels. On earth, believers are shown performing works of mercy: feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, visiting the sick and prisoners, clothing the naked, sheltering the stranger, and burying the dead.
