About this work

The young Mary lies in her cradle. Angels play music and sing her to sleep. Above the cradle the Holy Spirit as a dove, amidst a choir of angels. By the fireplace her mother Anna is warming her hands. Below the print numbered 1 and four lines of text: Here lies and sleeps ... as follows. The print is part of an album.
