About this work

Mary sits kneeling at her desk. She is visited by the angel Gabriel. He tells her that she will bear a son who will be called Christ. Above them the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove. The scene is set within a rosary. At the bottom praying men receive rosaries from angels. The print is part of an album.
