About this work

Just before his death Jacob blesses the sons of his son Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh. He does this with crossed hands and predicts a great future for Ephraim, the youngest son of Joseph. Above the scene a title. Below it six lines of verse and a reference to Genesis 48. The print is part of an album.
