About this work
The prophetess Deborah, one of the judges of Israel, sits under a palm tree and tells Barak that he must go with his army to the Tabor to defeat Jabin's army commander Sisera. To the right in the background the battle between the armies of Barak and Sisera. Above the scene a title. Below it six lines of verse and a reference to Judges 4: 4-6. The print is part of an album.
