About this work
Absalom remains hanging with his hair in the branches when he rode under a tree on his mule. His mount went on. Thus Absalom was an easy prey for David's soldiers. He was killed by Joab. Above the image a title. Below it six lines of verse and a reference to 2 Samuel 18: 10-12. The print is part of an album.
