Jonah Under the Gourd Tree

Jonah sits with a view of the city of Nineveh waiting for God to destroy the city. God has caused a miracle tree to grow for him, so that he can sit in the shade. But the next day the tree is withered, the leaves hang limp, and Jonah is overcome by the heat. Above the image a title. Below it six lines of verse and a reference to Jonah 4: 5-7.
