About this work
The devil takes Christ to the temple in Jerusalem and commands him to jump off to see if the angels would save him. Then he takes him to the highest point of the mountain and promises him the entire kingdom. Letters stand next to various elements of the scene. Above the image a title. Below it six lines of verse and a reference to Matthew 4: 5-7. The print is part of an album.
